Questions creators ask
Will my characters look the same from shot to shot?
Add each character, location and prop to your Universe once, with reference images or a generated character sheet. Mention it by name in a prompt and Splice attaches those references to the generation. Models still vary between takes, so generate a few and keep the hero take; it is far steadier than prompting from scratch every time.
Can I monetise what I make?
What you make is yours to post and monetise. Follow each platform’s rules on AI-generated content, and don’t use people’s likenesses or other creators’ work without permission.
Do I need editing experience?
No. Templates get you to a first version in a couple of clicks, and the editor is there when you want more control.
Can I bring in a clip from elsewhere?
Paste a link or upload a file and use it as a reference, a background or a shot in your edit, as long as you have the rights to it.
Can my AI assistant do this for me?
Yes. Connect Splice to Claude, ChatGPT, Grok, Claude Code or Codex and ask in plain words. It generates and edits in your account, sees each price first, and everything it makes lands in your productions.
What does it cost?
You pay per generation in credits; there is no subscription, and credits don’t expire. Every model shows its price on the Generate button before you run it. New accounts get 100 free credits to start.
